Sasquatch Books is comprised of three imprints. Sasquatch Adult publishes visual nonfiction by gifted writers, artists, chefs, naturalists, and thought leaders whose work reflects the adventurous, creative, DIY spirit of the PNW. Their passion becomes theirs as they help transform their vision into beautifully crafted books and journals. Little Bigfoot, their children’s imprint, draws inspiration from the natural wonders of the PNW and the diverse population that lives here. They publish richly illustrated board books and picture books that spark curiosity and engage the imagination of young readers and their families. Their Spruce Books imprint creates giftable, highly visual books, journals, and workbooks intended to help readers age 16+ to develop self-knowledge, build emotional intelligence, and create positive connections with the world around them. Sasquatch Books combines the creativity, innovation, and attentiveness of a small press with the reach and prominence of their parent company, Penguin Random House.
Sasquatch Books believes in the power of the written word to connect us and change lives. As a book publisher, they seek to create a world where free expression, literacy, and creativity flourish. They are especially committed to uplifting communities in the Pacific Northwest, where they are located, through internal initiatives, external partnerships, and charitable donations. Their primary focus is on those that nurture reading culture, from independent bookstores to organizations that provide books and learning opportunities to the underserved. They strive to amplify diverse voices in the books they publish and in the talent they partner with to create them.
