The Nootka Rose & Salmonberry scent is fresh native roses with a cut of watery sweet-tartness.

  • Top Notes: Pink Rose, Eucalyptus
  • Mid Notes: Cider, Pear
  • Base Notes: Ripe Cranberry, Rosemary

Nootka Roses are native to the PNW extending from Northern California into Alaska. They are not a heavy perfume rose but a sweet natural rose appreciated for their scent, beauty and red rose hips that last throughout the wintertime. Salmonberries, which are also in the rose family, are found throughout the PNW and are the first berries of spring. Their watery tart/sweet flavor is reminiscent of rhubarb. NW dogs love salmonberries too and eat them right off the bushes!

Candle Care: Your first time lighting the candle, please burn the candle until you have a melt pool that goes edge to edge. This process usually takes 2-3 hours and will prevent “tunneling” so your candle will last longer. Trim wick to ¼” before each use to reduce unnecessary smoke. Keep away from drafts and vents. Follow all safety instructions on the candle warning label.

This scent is divine for the spring and summer months!! A beautiful combination of fresh rose and juicy salmon berries. I hope that this scent is never retired.
