Bring timeless intention to your writing desk with the Chestnut Cascade A5 Journal. Handcrafted in Arlington, Washington, this full-sized heirloom cover is fashioned from rich, deep chestnut leather and secured with a 45-inch wraparound leather lace. Maker Cate Florey individually hand-rounds the corners of each included A5 notebook insert in her Snohomish County studio. Designed to soften and absorb the story of its user, this substantial journal lays completely flat when open, offering an inviting canvas for personal reflection, creative prose, and long-term planning.

The journal is made to be used, carried, and loved. With time, the leather will soften and gather marks, creases, and character from the life it travels with. “The pages hold your story. The leather begins to tell one too.”

Key Features:

  • Artisan Studio Production: Each piece is carefully cut, prepared, finished and assembled by hand in Cate's Washington studio.
  • Supple Chestnut Leather Cover: Rich brown hide selected for its unique grain and natural aging qualities.
  • Traditional Leather Tie Closure: 45-inch carefully cut leather lace wraps securely around the cover.
  • Generous Page Capacity: Includes three blank A5 notebooks with studio-finished rounded corners.
  • Handcrafted above the 48th Parallel in Washington State.
