More than a decade ago, from somewhere deep in her childhood memories, founder Aurora Echo had a strong craving to eat delicious spinach pasta. She searched everywhere, yet could not buy it at local grocery stores or even the posh health food markets of the day. But she was determined... "If I were going to eat it, I would have to teach myself to make it. So, I did!"
Soon she had friends declaring that her spinach pasta was the best pasta they'd ever eaten, and Wildly Beloved Foods began its journey. Aurora first formed Wildly Beloved Foods in Langley, Washington, in 2022 to bring exceptional Italian organic artisan pasta (in spinach and other varieties) to share with you. Since then, Wildly Beloved Foods has grown amazingly to a workforce of 4, and in the spring of 2023, it moved into its present factory and marketplace location in Clinton, Washington.
Wildly Beloved Foods pasta is made with only four pure ingredients: pure Italian organic semolina flour (Molino Grassi), organic baby spinach, local organic whole eggs (from Day Creek Organic Eggs in Sedro Wooley, Washington), and water. These four ingredients produce four primary dough formulations: Plain Vegan, Vegan Spinach, Egg, and Spinach & Egg. It is mixed and extruded using an Italian Bottene commercial pasta extruder using over 20 Italian-made water-cooled bronze dies. From this, dozens of varieties are produced, giving consumers an amazing selection to choose from.
Wildly Beloved Foods pasta is made in small batches and is produced in both fresh and dried varieties. It's amazingly delicious, and it brings fine dining home. Their dried pasta is shelf-stable and air-dried slowly for exceptional taste, healthfulness, and reduced cooking time. The dried pasta is packaged in 100% home-compostable non-plastic bags with compostable labels and compostable reseal tape—the final products reflect their core values of producing exceptionally healthy, delicious, and environmentally responsible products. You're invited to taste the difference when you explore, share, and enjoy crave-worthy Italian Organic Artisan Pasta, artfully crafted on beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington.
Made to be loved, wildly!
