Charlotte Wayner, inspired by the rich history of bar culture and a lover of cocktails, was so excited to set up her own home bar. She found beautiful vintage cocktail glasses, a nice Boston shaker, and a bar cabinet to put it all in, but when it came to bar tools she couldn’t find anything other than the generic stainless steel or bamboo skewers that we're sure you’ve seen in every bar.

She wanted something more unique to compliment her curated bar set up, something that would create a sense of occasion and celebration with every cocktail. Frustrated with what was on the market, she suddenly thought: "I should just make my own bar spoon and cocktail picks! I have all the tools and materials at my fingertips in my jewelry studio after all." And, she also thought if she couldn’t find bar tools that she liked, maybe other home bartenders felt the same way. Having had a decade-long background in fine jewelry design and production and many years working as a bartender it seemed like a match made in heaven so in 2023 she converted her jewelry studio in Tacoma, WA to begin creating hand crafted and forged bar accessories and launched Tall Order Studio.
