For over fifty years, Robert Adamson and Janis Swalwell have been designing and making hand-blown, sculpted and cast glass art. Moving from Seattle to their 16-acre farm on Whidbey Island in 1989, they repurposed old barns into new glass studios and re-emerged as Island Art Glass in 1995.
Island Art Glass decorative pieces are suitable for both interior and exterior settings, ranging from portable sculptures for tabletops to wall-mounted displays. “High standards for excellence characterize our work. We create hand-blown glass giftware, custom art glass lighting, and nature-inspired art for garden installation.”
