It was the beginning of a delicious relationship — that fateful day in 1915, when the president of the Washington State Fair, William H. Paulhamus, petitioned the Fishers to sell the very same scones they had sold at the Panama Pacific Exposition (or World’s Fair in San Francisco) at the Washington State Fair but with one addition, raspberry jam from his own farm. The deal was sealed and in a corner booth under the grandstand, Fisher began to sell their now famous scones with this signature raspberry jam. The rest is history and a Fair tradition we all love.

At the Fair, they cut open scones (but not all the way through) then fill with this delicious raspberry jam. And of course it's not just for scones, this tried and true jam is great on breads, muffins, waffles and pancakes. Or try a bit on cheesecake and ice cream.

Fabulous raspberry jam, glad I found it

I have been a fan of Fisher scones and their raspberry jam for years. It has practically disappeared from grocery stores. I made three trips to stores that said they had it...no jam. I was thrilled to find it at Made in Washington. I bought two jars to go with the scones I make at home. It tastes wonderful, full of seeds which I love, and I am happy to have my scones and jam breakfast back. You will not be disappointed with this jam, and it is available at a competitive price with fast delivery!

Would buy again... But

I would definitely buy this again but very thick and very hard to spread.
It tastes wonderful and I bought as gifts and myself. Also very seedy but like I said the taste is so worth it!!

Perfect birthday gift

It made a perfect birthday gift for someone missing home! She moved to New Mexico and scones make her miss home a little less. So I was thrilled to be able to have the jam shipped directly to her!

Best jam ever.

I love me a PB&J, just every time I try to find a good J (jam) it's quite awful. Till I found fisher raspberry jam!

Now I have the best tasting jam for everything to a good PB&J, ice cream, or scones!
