Bob and Corina’s interest in pottery began while in high school. After graduation, they continued to perfect their craft in their spare time, and in the same year they got married, they opened the Clay in Motion studio.
In the studio, Bob does the throwing and firing, while Corina works on the glazing and decorating. Each year they hit the refresh button on their inventory with a handful of new items, all of which are the studio’s own design.
Each piece is handmade, hand decorated, and fired at 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The finishes are lead free, and every piece is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. The smooth texture you feel is a product of the high quality clay, also giving it a high density structure for considerable durability.
