BobbySue's Nuts was started in 2008 by Barbara "BobbySue" Kobren who wanted to find a better, continuous way to help homeless animals, so she started selling her family's recipe for sweet and savory nuts at farm stands in Chappaqua, NY and the surrounding area. Since those time, the company has grown and today, managing partners Adam Kobren (BobbySue's son) and Greg Yahn, both based in the Bellevue/Seattle area, run the company. They produce their nuts in Monroe, Washington and ship nationwide from Sumner, Washington.
All of their products are flavored mixtures of almonds, cashews and pecans and are NON GMO Project verified, Kosher certified and Gluten Free. They use egg whites to bind their spice mixes to the nuts (as opposed to hydrogenated oils), and this allows them to contain about half the sugar of other premium, sweetened snacks. With no artificial ingredients and a delicious taste, they have won prestigious national flavor awards such as the Specialty Food Association Gold and Silver SOFI Awards for salty snacks.
A Brand That Gives Back: BobbySue's Nuts champions pets by donating 2% of all profits each year to help build shelters for homeless animals, support legal protection laws and better educate people.
