The Ultimate Father’s Day Wild Salmon Experience
A Made In Washington & Lummi Island Reefnet Fishery Exclusive

This Father's Day share a PNW tradition as old as the Salish Sea. This offering — a first-ever partnership between the highly unique Lummi Island Reefnet fishery and Made In Washington — is a super-premium and hyper local way for dad to experience this tradition that is so deeply woven into our region's culture.

It starts with Reefnet caught wild Sockeye Salmon. Reefnetting is a centuries-old method developed by Indigenous Coast Salish peoples and practiced today by only a handful of fishers in the world. Instead of chasing salmon, the reef net fishermen guide them naturally into nets, hand-select each fish, and flash-freeze them immediately. Reefnetting is slow, intentional, humane, and fully traceable, the cleanest, most respectful way to harvest wild salmon.

  • Quality built in: Live bled, carefully handled, and frozen at peak freshness for clean flavor, rich texture, and full traceability.
  • Selective by design: Salmon swim naturally into the reef and are hand selected by the crew, resulting in virtually zero bycatch.
  • Minimal habitat impact: Floating nets operate without dragging the seafloor, using fixed anchor points year after year.
  • Rooted in Coast Salish knowledge: Developed by Coast Salish peoples, guided by generations of understanding tides, seasons, and salmon behavior.
  • Low impact power: Platforms rely on solar energy with small skiffs used only as needed. In fact, it is the only solar-powered fishery in the U.S.

What's Inside The Collection:

  • Wild Sockeye Salmon Fillets: Arrives flash frozen, to lock in all the beautiful color, amazing flavor, nutrients and texture.  Simply thaw and bake or grill (we recommend grilling!). Choose a Full Side or 6 oz. fillets.
  • Tom Douglas’ Rub With Love: The iconic Salmon Rub from Seattle’s James Beard Award-winning chef, 3.5 oz.
  • Coro Salumi: For pre-dinner appetizers, Coro Salumi (from the team at the famous Salumi Deli), 5 oz.
  • Beecher’s Flagship Cheese Crackers: The world-famous handmade cheese in a crunchy, snackable form, 5 oz.
  • Walla Walla Sweet Onion Mustard: A tangy, locally-inspired condiment from AJ’s Edible Arts of Pasco, 4 oz.
  • Plus the Story of the Reefnet fishery.

    Curated for:

    • The Backyard Grill Master: For the dad who takes pride in his technique and appreciates the superior texture of hand-selected Sockeye.
    • The Conservation-Minded Dad: For the recipient who values sustainable practices and the preservation of our regional waterways.
    • The PNW Local Living Far From Home: For those who miss the salt air and the tradition of a fresh wild salmon dinner shared with family.
Whether sending to dad as a Father's Day gift, or getting it for the grill at your Father's Day event, it will be a culinary experience to remember.
