Now in its 22nd year, the annual Limited Edition Holiday collectible ornament — designed exclusively for Made In Washington — has become a true local tradition. Several past designs were even selected to represent Washington State on the White House Christmas Tree!

The Inspiration Behind the 2025 Design:
As snowflakes drift through silvery skies and icicles form along windowsills, this handblown glass ornament captures the hush and shimmer of a Washington winter. Soft white tufts drift across its translucent surface like a snowfall in slow motion—quiet, ethereal, and full of wonder.

Named for the opening line from the song  I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, this ornament honors the voice that came over the 1937 airwaves that made it a seasonal standard: Native American jazz legend Mildred Bailey, born in Tekoa, Washington, (later lived in Spokane & Seattle) and known as the Queen of Swing. Bailey’s signature warmth and phrasing were shaped by traditional Native songs from her childhood and refined during her early days singing intimate person-to-person sheet music songs at Woolworth’s. Her delicate voice and quiet swing earned her a place in the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame and a lasting place in American music.

"The Snow Is Snowing" celebrates her legacy—and the beauty found only in winter—with elegance and reverence. It's a glimmering keepsake for weathering whatever the storm and a reminder of the love that will keep us warm this holiday season.
