Terry’s current work symbolizes his journey full-circle back to his roots as an artist. After graduating from Seattle’s Burney School of Professional in the early 1970’s, Terry worked in advertising – creating art for a variety of local and national publications to fashion art for local newspapers until he joined the Boeing Company as an artist. His twenty-three year career with Boeing ended as an instructor and course developer across a variety of topics with a focus on 3D CAD design.
In 2000, he hopped out of the corporate world to experience a wonderful new adventure — to become a stay-at-home dad for his two Russian adopted sons. Terry has since returned to his passion for art, producing hand-crafted furniture through his small business Terry Designs Studio.
Terry now splits his time between Newcastle Washington and along the coast in Manzanita Oregon. He has three daughters, two sons, and four grandchildren — all living close by in the great Pacific Northwest!
