When Lindsay Ashely stopped teaching 7th grade to have her first child, she loved staying at home but wanted something else to work on that made her feel human and still part of the adult world. After many years of having a similar business as more of a hobby, she re-opened Sound & Circle in June of 2020 (now with 3 kids!) with the goal to provide beautiful paper goods that also serve as useful tools for realistic organization. They are all designed to fit seamlessly into your day-to-day, and help you get all your to-dos and ideas out of your brain and onto paper. Currently, Sound & Circle is based out of a shed off her garage that was constructed after the business grew quickly and Lindsay found herself with too much equipment to keep in the house. She is a solopreneur who contracts help from her sister with the goal to employ other stay-at-home mothers who want flexible part-time work.
