This sturdy, straight walled, handmade stoneware Mug by Clear Creek Pottery holds 12 oz. and comes in the mysterious Storm Glaze - a beautiful mix of blue, black and rich browns. It is 4.5" high by 3.5" wide, beautifully crafted and a solid mug with a thumb rest. Functional pottery is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. All glazes are lead free and safe for food. Holds approximately 12 fl oz. Weighs approximately 1 lb 1 oz.

Nice mug. Great size. Has some substance to it.

All the thumb rests I have ever seen (before this mug) were on the top of the handel before it joins the body of the mug. Gives you a nice place to park your thumb and so that the mug does not slip. This one seems to be a stop or something; your thumb just butts up against it. Just saying.........
