Inspired by her mother-in-law's jams, Sarah, an amazing cook in her own right, decided that she should try her own hand at jams. At first as she says "I cheated with store bought fruit" but it was so much fun and so addicting that she soon realized that to capture the best flavors and essence of the fruit she really needed to get to the farms. They started visiting all the local farms and picking their own fruit for the jams—it was such a fun hobby and they loved it so much. Her first jam was strawberry, but right away Sarah's creative juice's were flowing and homemade Plum Bourbon jam was born followed by Dandelion Jam with an herbal honey flavor profile. With so much northwest fruit from local farms available, it wasn't long before they were overflowing in jam and they thought "maybe we could sell it".

Later that year, in 2018, and Sarah and Dane McCormick established McCormick Jam Co. in Fall City, Wa. Their specialty jams are made with fruit they pick themselves, lightly sweetened with local honey and organic raw sugar. Indulge your taste buds with their mouthwatering delights. They are currently a three person team with Clara Gilbertson, the hard working sister-in-law, who is involved with Sales and being auntie to their kiddos.
