Very pleased with gift but suggesting gift receiver also receive email notice of delivery

I was very pleased to purchase a gift package of the 3 types of smoked salmon. And delivery service surprised me with its promptness. I was also relieved to learn no immediate refrigeration is required for the package. As the purchaser I received an email notification that the package had been delivered. GIven the intensity of my own schedule at the holiday time, I was not able to inform the gift receiver of the delivery in a timely way. I sincerely suggest that gathering the email address of the gift receiver at the time of initial ordering and notifying the gift receiver of the delivery would be a very helpful improvement in the delivery process.
