The journey for Dan and Kristi Mendum began in 2007 when they took a bold step into the coffee world. Armed with a roaster and a dream, they established Coyote Coffee Roasters in the picturesque town of Sandpoint, ID. In 2011, they embraced an exciting opportunity to acquire Moka Joe Coffee Roasters, a beloved brand with a rich history dating back to 2000 from Bellingham, WA and soon made their way to Anacortes, WA where they continue to thrive today. This partnership expanded their reach and allowed them to enhance their offerings, including private label roasting for Coyote Coffee and Café Femenino. And today you can find their coffee roasts in over 100 "Mom and Pop" cafés and local grocery stores, including select Food Pavilion and Market Grocery locations, while sourcing fair trade organic coffee from around the world.
