Bellingham Bay Glassworks is a small studio in Bellingham, Washington creating unique, handmade pieces that combine artistry with functionality.

Artist and owner Sterling Powell brings over 30 years of experience to the studio, having collaborated with artists from the Pacific Northwest and worldwide. A graduate of Western Washington University with a degree in Glass Processes, Sterling has mentored numerous emerging artists. In 2019, he and his wife Sarah established their studio overlooking Bellingham Bay.

Sterling’s one-of-a-kind creations include functional art, sculptures, memorials, and custom pieces, drawing inspiration from nature and Sterling's passion for astronomy. Using traditional Italian glassblowing techniques and soda-lime glass, Bellingham Bay Glassworks produces unique, handcrafted items that showcase the beauty of glass art.

Every piece of art is designed, created and distributed from their studio in Bellingham Washington. Their work is a reflection of their commitment to beauty, creativity, and community.
